Is anyone out there?

First of all, I know my mom is torn about telling her friends that I write this thing and having everyone converge and judge us. On the other hand, if we knew people were actually reading this, maybe it will give us some incentive to post more frequently. Secondly, we are torn as to the direction of our posts. We can write about hard hitting political issues (which, quite frankly, a lot of people do very well already), or we can try to scrunge up more bizarre news, or news about other furry friends, and comment on that. (That would be the "niche" blogging we keep hearing we should be doing.) Also, we have recently read that we should try to keep our posts short. On the other hand, we want to keep them meaningful. (I don't want to just report on how much kibble I've eaten today.) (I have eaten my normal 2 cups so far.)

Mom has gotten a feedreader up for us to peruse (finally), so now we'll get up-to-the minute puppy news for all of us. Feel free to link to me and to syndicate my feed. If you're a blogging pup like me, I'd love to know about it. And I will make it worth your while to visit. I promise.

So let me know what you want to read and we'll try to keep this going! Quite honestly, I worry about my Mom because she's going to be a gainfully employed accountant soon (and no longer a starving filmmaker/arts teacher), and we want her to keep it real. Please help...

Ah, so the key is to keep one of my good pictures up there to stop you folks. Can't tear your eyeballs from the screen, I'm so sexy... Just joking. My friend Xxan is apparently sexier. As is Bear... I'm only sexy in my Roadie get-up.

Toby, I check in every now and then to see how you're doing. I like reading all this stuff you and Auntie Cris have to share about.

(I was bad today. My dad left me home alone for a few minutes without crating me and I ate almost an entire batch of double chocolate brownies. Dad gave me this yucky ipecac stuff that made me sick... I'm still not feeling great. I don't recommend eating a whole pan of brownies, OK.)

Love from MD,
Cousin Charlie
P.S. Mommy, Daddy and Baby say hi too.

This makes me soooo happy. Momma starts her new job tomorrow and I don't know yet how often she will let me log on. So now, I feel like I have a reason to INSIST she let me post to my blog. YAY!

Thanks, Moon Dog. I will try to do some of the "politico" you stay away from.

And thanks to Cousin Charlie. YOU SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM BROWNIES. I have eaten a whole chocolate cake before but the vet told my moms not to worry about it because I was so big. You are soooo tiny, I guess it matters more, little beagle-y friend. (I miss you!).

Talk to you all soon!

You guys should be savin' all that chocolate for my secretary. He is a chocoholic.

Tobiaspoindexter. Great name but I don't think my typist is going to like typing that all the time. Anyways. I think you should write about what strikes you at the time. My blog is about me and my retired humans and what we do. Every day things.

My male human tried to sneak in some of his own political views in the begining, but I edited most of them out. After a long talk, I finally convinced him that it wasn't worth the stress of venting. Especially in MY blog. He could have turned it into a blob.

He has learned not to read the papers or watch for news on the magic box. Any real important news will get to him by and by. So now I employ him as my secretary and allow him some time to dabble in watercolors.

Hope your mom has fun at her new job. But remember, her first job is tummy rubbin'!

Woof!

Freda here, AGAIN.

I didn't really look at your blog before making my first comment. Sorry. Just jumped into your posting. My typist likes the Tobias bit. A few less letters. That is, if you like be called Tobias. Poindexter is kinda sexy though. And I am part GSD myself. It is the terrier part that gets me into trouble. Great photo!

Woof!

Too bad some jerk posted a comment that is really a commercial for himself. That's just not cool.

Anyway, "woof!"

I saw that you looked in on my journal. My mom has had a houseful of people visiting (e.g., petting me) so I have not had time to write recently, but yes, you should keep yours up to date because ... DOG POWER!!

"Vuv!" That's how the guys visiting my mom say "woof!" You sort of assume that humans from different parts of the world might talk differently, but it's pretty crazy that Danish dogs talk different from American dogs.

So, Toby, it worked to get you a message. I am no longer a member of Blogger, so I did not know if it would work. My "bazinneke" has been ill, in hospital for 6 weeks, and in that time I could not write of course (my paws are way too thick, I tried you know, but "boaske" did not like that so much, haha.) While bazinneke was in hospital, boaske took good care of me and my sis, but I missed her though. So when she was back, the habit of blogging was a bit gone, and that is why you did not hear from me that long. How are your bushes and foretst?? I have good news: in summer holidays we are going to move to the little farm I told you so often about. So then we will have much more space to run and play. We even get along with the cats, can you imagine?? AND the chickens. They raised us well, didn't they? Only the horses, well, I hesitate a little, they are SO giant big, but they are good too, you know. My "boaskes " select their animals well.

And how are you, toby? the big picture on the post is that you? What a handsome, lucky I am boy too, eh ;-)

But we, shepards, stick together, don't we, so I so wish to hear from you and your moms, if ever you lost our email: it is lieven.vanlerberghe@pandora.be

Mail us please !!!
